The logo was designed for North East Slow Food and Agrobiodiversity Society (NESFAS), Meghalaya, India, as part of building their brand collaterals.
The two different greens of the leaves symbolize beginning and end. As well as young and old… as intergenerational sharing, depicting the importance of both. As the old leaf gives way the young leave sprouts, new hope begins.
The mustard colour reminds us of local grains and stands for overall well-being we are working towards.
White in the middle signifies peace and serenity, which is important to achieve a collective transformation and positive change.
The spiral in the middle depicts the Earth, encompassing all of life and is held together in loving care symbolized by the red (this is also in line with the Mizo interpretation of the colour red).
